Jobs for this time of year After the recent high winds many of our roofs need a little attention, a couple of loose tiles or slates can let the water in which spells disaster with ££ signs in the longer term. Take a good look at your roof and get those small and inexpensive repairs done now. Pressure washing your driveway now will clear away the winter debris and last years weeds and algae before they take a hold. If you would like to do the job yourself (it can be quite relaxing) there is a hire company in Houston Industrial Estate Livingston which can hire a pressure washer up to the job. Remember you will need access to water, and, electricity if you use an electrical pressure washer. If you have monoblock driveway you may need to put down some fine sand to fill in the cracks between the monoblocks since the sand is blasted out by the pressure washer. If you are thinking about buying your own pressure washer then look at the biggest and most powerful that are available from a company like B&Q or Screwfix. Yes they are more expensive but they reduce the time taken to do a job by as much as 75%, give a better finish and are more robust.
